Size guide
| Piece | Size |
|---|---|
| Bath towel | 30 × 56 in · 76 × 142 cm |
| Bath sheet | 40 × 70 in · 102 × 178 cm |
| Hand towel | 20 × 32 in · 51 × 81 cm |
| Bath mat | 21 × 34 in · 53 × 86 cm |
For reference, the towel most people already own is around 27 × 52 in. The bath towel is a little longer and a lot heavier. The bath sheet is the one you can wrap all the way around.
Every piece is 800 GSM zero-twist cotton with a double-stitched hem. Expect about 3% shrinkage after the first wash, which is already allowed for in these measurements.

800 GSM, zero-twist long-staple cotton, double-stitched hem. Bath towel 30 × 56 in, bath sheet 40 × 70 in. Ivory, Sand and Stone. OEKO-TEX certified.
Zero-twist yarn is spun without being wound tight, so the loop stays open and takes water on contact instead of pushing it across your skin. Long-staple cotton has fewer loose ends, which is why it doesn't go scratchy after a season.
Free over $99, otherwise $6.95. Ships from our US warehouse in one business day, delivered in three to five.
Warm wash, tumble dry low. No fabric softener and no dryer sheets, both leave a coating that blocks water. Wash once before first use to set the loop.

Zero-twist yarn leaves the loop open, so it takes water on contact instead of pushing it across your skin.
Heavy towels that stay damp are what turn sour. This one hangs dry in hours, so it never gets the chance.
Long-staple cotton has fewer loose ends. Nothing on your skin, nothing in the filter.
No factory softening finish, and no need for softener at home. Just cotton doing its job.
The problem
Your towels didn't wear out. They got coated.
A towel that stopped drying you is usually not worn out. It is coated. Fabric softener works by leaving a thin waxy film on the fibre, which is what makes laundry feel slippery, and a film that repels water is the last thing you want on the one thing in your house whose whole job is absorbing it.
Most towels arrive coated too. A softening finish is applied at the factory because it feels good in the shop. It washes out after a wash or two, which is exactly when people decide the towel has stopped working.
We build ours so it never needs any of it. Then we tell you to throw the softener out. It costs us a cross-sell and it saves your towels.
Why sayu
Hotel weight. No hotel markup.
The same 800 GSM zero-twist construction that five-star properties buy by the pallet, sold direct instead of through three middlemen. The weight is the expensive part. The logo on the box is not.
Based on 800 GSM cotton bath towels at US retail, spring 2026. Our price shown at the four-pack rate.
Inside the towel
Spun loose on purpose.
Most towels use tightly twisted yarn because it weaves faster and ships cheaper. Twisting closes the loop. We spin it the other way.
Grams per square metre, the weight, and the best single proxy for how much water a towel holds.
Spun without being wound tight, so the loop stays open to the water.
Long fibres mean fewer loose ends, less shedding, and no scratch after a season.
Bath towel 30 × 56 in, bath sheet 40 × 70 in. Ivory, Sand and Stone.

Reviews
Loved in 40,000 bathrooms.
The recurring complaint: at 800 GSM these need real air to dry. A crowded radiator won't do it. Worth knowing before you buy.
I stopped using softener like the card said. Two washes later they actually dry me. I'd been blaming the towels.
Marisa K. · Verified buyerHeavier than anything I've owned. My husband thought I'd bought hotel stock. Six months in they still look new.
Dana R. · Verified buyerNo complaints about the towel. They take up the whole rail though, small bathroom, get the four-pack and not the six.

Use them. Wash them. Then decide.
